Tennis/Pickleball Court at City Park Reopening Date Set

The reopening date for the pickleball/tennis courts at City Park has been set for Wednesday, June 29. The resurfacing of the pickleball/tennis courts at City Park has been completed, and the courts are now in a curing period of five days before play may resume.

During the curing period, Parks and Recreation staff will be re-installing seating, nets, hitting boards, and windscreens.

Lights for the pickleball courts are scheduled to be readjusted soon, so playing during evening hours will be limited upon reopening.

A ribbon cutting celebrating the completion of this court improvement project has been scheduled for Monday, July 18 at 4:30 p.m. Door prices for both tennis and pickleball players will be given away and a pickleball demonstration will begin at 5:00 p.m. The City will also announce exciting upcoming improvements planned for the court complex!
