Temporary Open Burning Ban Lifted; Permits Always Required

The Sevierville Fire Department (SFD) has lifted the temporary ban on open burning in the City. The ban has been in effect due to extremely dry conditions and increased fire risk in the area. Fire officials will continue monitoring conditions.

Citizens are also reminded that they are required to obtain a permit prior to beginning any open burning in the City of Sevierville.
